Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Buyer-Associate for our client in Mississauga area. This job is covering for a Maternity leave for 14-18 months.

Duties

• Assist in the procurement process by sourcing Electronics products and services aligned with company needs and standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to maximize value and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation of contracts, purchase agreements, and procurement transactions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in materials management, procurement workflows, and e-commerce platforms.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of materials management, inventory control, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and supply chain processes.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build effective supplier relationships.
• Familiarity with purchasing procedures, sourcing strategies, logistics coordination, and contract management.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies, production planning concepts, and merchandising principles is highly desirable.
• Effective communication skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and process optimization.
