Overview
The Healthcare Professional provides high-quality support within a medical or patient-care environment. This role ensures that patients receive safe, compassionate, and efficient care by assisting with daily tasks, maintaining accurate documentation, communicating effectively with staff and patients, and following organizational and regulatory standards. The position may involve direct patient interaction, administrative responsibilities, or operational duties depending on the assigned department.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Support
Assist in providing safe, patient-centered care under the direction of licensed clinicians
Communicate with patients and families in a professional, empathetic manner
Support patient mobility, comfort, and basic needs (as applicable)
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to appropriate staff
Maintain patient privacy and comply with all HIPAA standards
Clinical & Technical Support (if applicable)
Assist with basic clinical procedures and tasks
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies
Perform routine measurements such as vital signs, weights, or screenings
Follow infection-prevention and safety protocols
Administrative & Documentation Tasks
Maintain accurate records or charts within EMR systems
Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow
Answer phone inquiries and route calls appropriately
Process forms, reports, or billing information as required
Operational & Team-Based Duties
Support the smooth workflow of the department
Coordinate with nurses, physicians, technicians, and administrative staff
Participate in training, compliance, and quality improvement programs
Follow organizational policies, regulatory guidelines, and safety procedures

Education & Experience

Certification or license where required: CNA, MA, EMT, LPN, RN, tech certifications, etc.
Previous experience in healthcare or customer-facing roles preferred
Work Environment
Hospital, clinic, long-term care facility, outpatient center, or medical office
May require evenings, weekends, or rotation shifts
