Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements and design test plans and test cases

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing

• Execute both manual and automated test cases

• Report bugs clearly using tools such as Jira or Bugzilla

• Work closely with developers to track defects and verify fixes

• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

• Document test results and prepare test summary reports

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand product goals and ensure test coverage

• Continuously improve QA processes and suggest enhancements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 1–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance

• Strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies

• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Mantis)

• Basic understanding of databases and SQL

• Familiarity with automated testing tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Cypress)

• Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail

• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks

• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
