Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to set up, program, and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components. The ideal candidate will have experience working with blueprints, engineering drawings, and a variety of CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines such as mills, lathes, or routers according to job specifications.

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining operations.

• Load materials and tools into machines and monitor operations to ensure quality and accuracy.

• Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

• Perform machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.

• Adjust machine settings and tooling as needed to optimize performance.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following company and OSHA safety standards.

• Accurately document production activities and complete quality control reports.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in machining is a plus.

• 1–3 years of CNC machine operation experience preferred.

• Familiarity with G-code and M-code programming; ability to modify or create CNC programs is a plus.

• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and shop math.

• Experience using measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).

• Good attention to detail and quality control.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends if required.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing or machining shop floor.

• Exposure to noise, metal shavings, lubricants, and machinery.

• Requires wearing safety gear such as eye protection, gloves, and hearing protection.
