We are hiring an Electrical Engineer for our client in Mississauga. it is a Temp to Perm, full time role.

Shift: Days

Pay rate: $25-30/hr

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing/inspection/engineering activities with manufacturing and design teams.
• Review and check submittals, shop drawings, equipment data, material samples and/or manufacturers for compliance with contract drawings and specifications. Coordinate with design/manufacturing team to resolve all production issues and quality related conflicts.
• Ensure that all requirements of the applicable specifications and drawings are complied with, report on deficiencies and advise for the required corrections.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems relating to electrical quality control.
• Highlight deficiencies, shortfalls and indicate areas for improvement either in manufacturing activities, electrical design activities.
• Review and facilitate test report process and maintain the test report file system.
• Ensure that all equipment used are calibrated and with valid certificates.
• Highlight the areas of potential non conformity and advice for preventive action.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in the engineering field
• Must demonstrate ability to use various test equipment, including DC/AC power supply & multi-meter. Must demonstrate ability to perform troubleshooting of electronic/electrical circuitries and mechanical assemblies.
• Electrical Troubleshooting, Electrical Testing Design, Quality Focus, Analyzing Information , Reporting Research Results, Attention to Detail, Emphasizing Excellence, Innovation
• Qualified candidate will be trained accordingly and we require an individual who is well organized and is detail orientated.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Ability to read and understand Blueprints. Well organized, with a strong emphasis on attention to details.
