The Role: As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Labour & Delivery, Pediatrics, and Medical-Surgical Units, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse patient populations. You will support mothers during childbirth, care for pediatric patients, and manage a variety of medical and surgical conditions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

• Assess and manage pediatric patients, addressing acute and chronic conditions while offering family-centered support and education.

• Monitor and manage patients with medical and surgical conditions, administering medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients across specialties.

• Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes, maintaining compliance with hospital policies and standards.

• Promote a safe environment by adhering to infection control, safety protocols, and evidence-based practices.

Requirements:

• Current, unrestricted RN license in your province.

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labour & Delivery, Pediatrics, or Medical-Surgical units.

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP required; PALS is an asset.

• Strong knowledge of maternal, newborn, pediatric, and medical-surgical care practices.

• Excellent critical-thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
