Fully read and understand work orders, in conjunction with drawings, assure the quality and quantity of manufactured product;
Follow operating procedures, as required;
Setup and operate CNC and conventional lathes mills, vertical machining centers, saws and any other plant machinery as required;
Use inspection, measure and test equipment to assure all dimensions and tolerances as specified on drawings and work orders are met;
Complete first part inspections;
Complete in process inspections;
Immediately “red tag” discrepant parts manufactured out of drawing tolerances and open a non-conformance report;
Maintain material traceability, as required by the work order, material certifications and standard operating procedures;
Immediately stop and then report to a Supervisor or Manager any practice or situation he or she feels in unsafe;
Work carefully and cautiously in order not to injure him or herself or any other personnel;
Regular and consistent on time attendance is required;
Perform other duties as required.
