The Recruiter is responsible for identifying, screening, and hiring qualified candidates to meet organizational or client staffing needs. The role requires strong communication, sourcing expertise, and the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously. Recruiters act as the bridge between candidates and hiring managers to ensure a smooth, efficient hiring process.
Key ResponsibilitiesCandidate Sourcing & Outreach
Post job ads across major job boards and niche platforms
Proactively source passive candidates
Conduct cold outreach and build long-term talent pools
Screening & Interviewing
Review resumes to assess fit
Conduct phone screens and behavioral interviews
Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with summaries
Schedule interviews and coordinate with teams
Hiring Manager Collaboration
Gather job requirements and clarify must-have vs. nice-to-have skills
Provide regular updates on candidate pipelines
Advise on compensation benchmarks and market availability
Candidate Experience
Communicate status updates quickly and professionally
Prepare candidates for interviews
Follow up and close candidates at offer stage
Data & Compliance
Maintain accurate records in ATS
Track recruitment KPIs (time-to-fill, pipeline quality, offers accepted)
Ensure compliance with EEOC and hiring policies
Offer Coordination
Support offer creation, negotiation, and acceptance
Partner with HR to begin onboarding
