The Role: As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medicine Unit, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with a range of medical conditions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and ensure patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.

• Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and responses to treatment.

• Provide patient education and support on health conditions and treatment plans.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning.

• Ensure adherence to infection control procedures and safety protocols.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care effectively.

Requirements:

• Current, unrestricted RN license in your province.

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Canada, preferably in a medicine setting.

• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient needs.

• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

• Fluent in English and French.
