Case Manager (Bilingual)

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Pacific Time, with a 30-minute break

Salary: $1,300 per month

 

Job Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Case Manager to support our personal injury team in managing cases from intake through resolution. This role involves handling property damage claims, coordinating medical treatment, tracking legal deadlines, and maintaining consistent communication with clients, providers, and insurance carriers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple cases simultaneously. Spanish fluency is strongly preferred, as a significant portion of our clients are Spanish-speaking.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule clients with medical providers as directed by the attorney or supervising staff

  • Provide auto body shops with claim information for inspections, repairs, total loss (TL), and related matters

  • Calendar and monitor Statute of Limitations deadlines

  • Handle and resolve the Property Damage (PD) portion of claims, including:

    • Property damage (PD)

    • Total loss (TL)

    • Rental/LOU (Loss of Use)

    • Out-of-pocket expenses (OOPE)

    • Car seat reimbursements

  • Resolve liability issues with insurance carriers

  • Obtain and document witness statements

  • Follow up with clients regarding medical treatment every 3–4 weeks

  • Maintain and organize medical records and update the medical folder

  • Add medical providers and relevant information into the case management system (e.g., FileVine)

  • Follow up with medical providers regarding treatment status, reports, and billing

  • Track Statutes of Limitations and government claim deadlines

  • Report case issues and updates to supervising staff

  • Participate in case review meetings twice per month

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in personal injury case management (pre-litigation preferred)

  • Strong understanding of property damage claims and insurance processes

  • Experience handling liability investigations and client follow-ups

  • Familiarity with case management software (FileVine experience preferred)

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred due to client demographics)

  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and documentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and escalate issues when necessary
