We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Branch Operations Manager to lead the operations of our branch location. This role is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day functions, including personnel management, asset control, customer service, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in warehouse operations, team leadership, and customer service, along with the ability to drive performance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:Direct overall branch operations including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members.
Lead performance appraisals, resolve staff concerns, and administer disciplinary actions when necessary.
Foster a customer service-driven culture among all team members.
Coordinate regularly with the Regional Operations Manager and Human Resources.
Prepare and manage the annual operational budget; ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
Uphold and enforce workplace safety standards; actively participate in safety planning.
Collaborate with customers and branch leadership to enhance and expand service offerings.
Support delivery and merchandise return functions as needed using a company vehicle.
Perform additional operational tasks and duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED equivalent (Associate's degree preferred).
Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
At least 1 year of cash handling experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Eligible to work in the United States.
Availability to open/close the branch Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
Broad understanding of branch operations across multiple departments.
Comfort with Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.
Understanding of profit & loss (P&L) statements.
Bilingual abilities (preferred).
Willingness to pursue powered equipment certification and continuous skill development.
Proven self-starter with the ability to challenge and improve processes.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
Regular use of hands, arms, and vision (close and distance).
Exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasional exposure to high places, fumes, chemicals, or airborne particles.
High (loud) noise levels are common in the work environment.
