We are looking for a reliable, hardworking DZ licensed driver that is looking for full time work at a very competitive wage. This opportunity requires a skilled operator to place steel beams in new construction with our articulated crane truck. Crane or boom experience is necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Job Description:

The DZ truck driver/crane operator is responsible for delivering building materials to the customer in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. It is the driver’s responsibility to maintain a current driver’s license and to ensure you follow the regulations of the road at all times. You will also be responsible for making minor repairs and maintaining the safety of the equipment. As a service focused business, you will ensure that the customer is left with a great experience as you will typically be the last point of contact in the transaction.

This position is a full time permanent position that offers a competitive compensation package. All shifts are week day work with some Saturdays at peak business times. Full time hours with overtime is standard. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to stay local and work with a growing, industry leading company. Crane/boom experience is a strong asset but willing to train the right candidate.

Essential Functions:

Operate delivery equipment in a safe manner

Follow all rules of the road according to MTO specifications

Maintain accurate driver logs & inspections

Perform minor repairs to equipment

Perform scheduled weekly preventative maintenance tasks

Consistently provide top level service to our clients

Requirements:

Highschool diploma

Maintain an active DZ driver’s license with a clean abstract

Be reliable & punctual

Superb customer service skills

Willingness to learn

Team player with a “can do” attitude
