Job Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness, quality, and safety standards. This role ensures efficient operations, proper staff performance, and high guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support housekeeping staff during assigned shifts
Assign daily cleaning tasks and manage room assignments
Inspect guest rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards
Report room status (clean, dirty, out of order) accurately and on time
Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment
Train and assist new housekeeping employees
Monitor attendance, punctuality, and employee performance
Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, and safety concerns
Coordinate with Front Desk and Maintenance departments
Enforce safety, sanitation, and company policies
