The Night Auditor is responsible for providing excellent guest service at the front desk during overnight hours while completing daily audit and accounting tasks. This role balances hotel transactions, prepares financial reports, and ensures an accurate close of business day in the property management system (PMS).
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service / Front Desk
Greet and assist guests during overnight hours; complete check-ins/check-outs and handle guest requests.
Answer phones, manage reservations, and respond to inquiries with professionalism.
Resolve guest concerns, document incidents, and escalate issues to management when needed.
Coordinate with housekeeping/maintenance for urgent after-hours issues and follow safety/security procedures.
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly (PPE required as applicable).
Maintain an organized housekeeping cart and restock supplies throughout the shift.
Follow all hotel policies, brand standards, and safety procedures.Provide friendly and professional guest service when interacting with guests and staff.
