Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory counts throughout the day, investigating inventory discrepancies, and safely operating material handling equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, solid computer skills, and the ability to analyze inventory data using P21.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately count and verify inventory at multiple intervals throughout the day
  • Investigate inventory balances, transactions, and discrepancies using P21
  • Perform inventory audits and research variances to resolution
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, including Swing, Order Picker, and Reach Truck
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures
  • Communicate inventory issues and findings to leadership as needed

Qualifications

  • MHE certified on all required equipment (Swing, Order Picker, Reach Truck)
  • Strong computer skills with experience using P21 or similar inventory systems
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to analyze data and perform inventory investigations
  • Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to operate MHE equipment
  • Ability to lift, move, and stand for extended periods as required
