Sales/Business Development Representative (Philippines)

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, with 1 hour break

Salary: $1,200 per month

Job Overview: 

We are seeking a proactive and driven Sales/Business Development Representative (Sales/BDR) to join our growing remote sales team. This role serves as the initial point of contact for prospective customers and plays a key part in building the sales pipeline by generating leads, identifying interest, and booking qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives.

This is a high-activity, high-impact position that requires a disciplined approach to outreach, consistent follow-up, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will engage in structured outbound calling, execute follow-up cadences, and ensure every interaction is handled with precision and professionalism. Success in this role depends on the ability to balance persistence with a consultative tone in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound Calling & Lead Generation
  • Conduct daily outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce Jombone’s platform and qualify interest.
  • Use structured scripts and discovery frameworks to identify pain points and assess fit.
  • Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives and ensure smooth handoff with complete notes and context.
  • Lead Management & CRM Discipline
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all activities, calls, and outcomes within the CRM.
  • Update contact details, call results, and meeting notes in real time.
  • Ensure data integrity and adherence to established outreach processes and lead routing standards.
  • Follow-Up & Sequence Execution
  • Execute structured call and follow-up cadences using defined workflows.
  • Manage multiple touchpoints per lead, ensuring timely re-engagement and consistent follow-through.
  • Adhere to daily activity goals and outreach schedules to maintain strong pipeline velocity.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Track and report on key performance metrics including call volume, connection rates, and meetings booked.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and outreach effectiveness to the RevOps team.
  • Participate in weekly reviews and coaching sessions to improve call performance and outcomes.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Work closely with Revenue Operations and Account Executives to align on qualification criteria and meeting quality.
  • Share insights from conversations to help refine messaging, outreach strategy, and data accuracy.
  • Actively contribute to process improvements and best practices for outbound performance.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in outbound sales or lead generation
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of the English language and accent
  • Confidence and professionalism during outbound calls
  • Experience working within CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • High attention to detail, organization, and process discipline
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and results-oriented
  • Previous experience in SaaS or technology sales is a plus
  • Familiarity with outbound engagement tools (e.g., Apollo, ZoomInfo, Dialer, etc.)
  • Experience working across different time zones
  • Ability to consistently book qualified meetings that convert to opportunities
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding weekly and monthly call activity and meeting targets
  • Maintains clean and accurate CRM data with complete activity logging
  • Demonstrates continuous improvement in conversion and show-up rates
  • Provides valuable feedback and insights to improve outbound effectiveness
