VA - Property Manager

Job Type: Part-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM PST

Job Overview: 

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant - Property Manager with prior property management experience to support day-to-day real estate operations remotely. This role will work closely with the property management team to ensure smooth communication, accurate record-keeping, and timely coordination of tenant and vendor needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle tenant communications, including inquiries, follow-ups, and issue resolution

  • Coordinate maintenance requests, work orders, and vendor scheduling

  • Monitor rent collection, send reminders, and track delinquencies

  • Assist with lease renewals, move-ins, and move-outs

  • Maintain accurate property records, tenant files, and documentation

  • Update and manage data in property management systems (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi)

  • Prepare basic reports, trackers, and status updates for management

  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and property management timelines

  • Provide general administrative support related to property operations

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in property management, leasing, or real estate support

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

  • Excellent email etiquette and professional client communication

  • Experience using property management software (AppFolio, Yardi, or similar)

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Comfortable managing multiple properties and tasks simultaneously

Additional Skills & Tools (Preferred)

  • Familiarity with maintenance coordination and vendor management

  • Basic understanding of rental laws and lease terms (U.S. property management is a plus)

  • Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs)

  • Knowledge of CRM tools and task management systems

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools and systems
