The Role: As a Cardiac Care Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide specialized nursing care to patients with heart conditions, working closely with the cardiac care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct cardiac assessments and monitor vital signs, EKGs, and other cardiac tests.
• Administer prescribed medications, including those for heart conditions.
• Manage patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions, including post-surgical care.
• Educate patients and families on heart health, treatment plans, and medications.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
• Respond to cardiac emergencies and initiate life-saving interventions as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in your province.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac care, ICU, or telemetry.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular conditions and treatments.
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
