The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms and assigned areas to hotel standards, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests. This role requires attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and service guest rooms daily, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing bathrooms.
Replace linens, towels, amenities, and supplies according to hotel standards.
Clean and maintain hallways, assigned public areas, and storage/linen rooms as needed.
Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Follow lost-and-found procedures and report any guest items found.
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly (PPE required as applicable).
Maintain an organized housekeeping cart and restock supplies throughout the shift.
Follow all hotel policies, brand standards, and safety procedures.Provide friendly and professional guest service when interacting with guests and staff.
