Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
  • Program CNC machines using software such as SolidWorks and CAD to create detailed machining instructions.
  • Conduct regular maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments, including calipers, to verify the accuracy of machined parts.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to produce components as per specifications.
  • Operate Mazatrol systems and Fanuc controls for efficient machine operation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes.
  • Proficiency in programming CNC machines using SolidWorks, CAD, or similar software.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc controls and Mazatrol systems is preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely is a plus.
  • Experience with welding techniques is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform precise measurements using calipers and other tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining or related field is preferred.
