Job Overview:
We are hiring a part-time Social Media Manager to support weekend publishing operations. This role is focused on content scheduling, moderation, and posting across multiple platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok. The position ensures brand consistency, timely content delivery, and active audience engagement during weekend hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and publish content across assigned social media channels
Monitor and moderate user engagement and community interactions
Write compelling copy aligned with the brand’s editorial voice
Track and report on content and channel performance metrics
Stay current with social media trends and apply best practices to maximize engagement
Coordinate with the weekday social media team to maintain continuity and consistency
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or Manager
Strong knowledge of platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter
Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
Familiarity with social publishing and analytics tools
Consistent attention to detail and adherence to brand voice and guidelines
