Material Handler

Job Summary

Coryer Staffing is hiring Material Handlers,  on behalf of local manufacture in Plattsburgh, New York. In this role, you will safely and accurately move finished caps from production output areas using pallet jacks while helping maintain an organized, efficient manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Move finished caps and related materials from production output areas to designated locations.
• Safely operate manual or powered pallet jacks as assigned.
• Verify materials, quantities, labels, and destinations for accuracy.
• Keep production and material-handling areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and work instructions.
• Communicate material needs, discrepancies, equipment issues, and safety concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Support production operations and complete other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to work safely and accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Previous material-handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
• Pallet jack experience is preferred; training may be provided.
