The Manufacturer and Distribution Associate is responsible for supporting daily production operations and ensuring efficient movement of goods throughout the supply chain. This role involves manufacturing tasks such as assembly, machine operation, and quality checks, as well as distribution duties including inventory handling, packaging, shipping, and receiving. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesManufacturing Responsibilities
Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
Assemble, process, or fabricate products to meet quality and production standards.
Inspect materials and finished goods for defects or deviations from specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with safety and quality guidelines.
Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Follow production schedules and collaborate with team members to meet output goals.
Distribution & Warehouse Responsibilities
Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment according to customer requirements.
Load and unload trucks; verify incoming and outgoing shipments.
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Organize and store materials and products in designated locations.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment (if certified).
Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse operations preferred.
Basic understanding of safety procedures, quality control, and production processes.
Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and safety instructions.
Strong physical stamina; ability to lift 25–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Basic computer or scanner skills for inventory and shipping tasks.
