The Role: As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Float Pool, you will provide flexible, high-quality care across multiple units, adapting to diverse patient populations and clinical environments. Your versatility and broad skill set will support the hospital’s staffing needs, ensuring continuity of care in a variety of departments.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care across various units, including Medical-Surgical, Emergency, ICU, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient needs and unit requirements.

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately, adhering to hospital protocols.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in diverse care settings.

• Maintain accurate documentation and report on patient progress, interventions, and outcomes.

• Adapt quickly to different workflows, patient populations, and unit-specific policies.

Requirements:

• Current, unrestricted RN license in your province.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably across multiple specialties.

• BLS, ACLS or other unit-specific certifications are an asset.

• Strong adaptability and critical-thinking skills to work effectively in various high-pressure environments.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Commitment to patient safety, infection control protocols, and high standards of care.
