The Role: As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Emergency Room (ER), you will provide high-acuity care to critically ill and injured patients in dynamic, fast-paced environments. You will assess, monitor, and stabilize patients, ensuring optimal outcomes through expert clinical judgment and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize the care of critically ill and emergency patients, initiating life-saving interventions when required.

• Administer medications, therapies, and advanced interventions such as ventilator management and cardiac monitoring.

• Monitor patient conditions closely, identifying and responding to changes in status promptly.

• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care, interventions, and outcomes, adhering to facility policies.

• Ensure adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and quality standards in high-pressure environments.

Requirements:

• Current, unrestricted RN license in your province.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU, ER, or other critical care settings.

• ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS, and CTAS Certifications.

• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex, rapidly changing patient conditions.

• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments with excellent teamwork and communication skills.

• Familiarity with advanced equipment, such as ventilators, hemodynamic monitors, and infusion devices.
